'Being as One' - New Mexico 2018 - Gathering for Humanity
'Being As One', May 2018, New Mexico. This Shield is Created in honoring of the first 'Gathering for Humanity' in Santa Fe, N.M. during my visit at the Gathering for Humanity, Galisteo. It was a great honor having been invited by Grandmother Flordemayo as her Guest-Grand Mother in the Wisdom Panel of Grandmothers. Over the previous months I had received an Inner Calling :
"To create a Shield in honoring of Grandmother Flordemayo, The Gathering for Humanity, and All"
Since no feathers were allowed to be imported into the US, or out of the Netherlands. Grandmother has sent out a Call to all Four Directions and many people answered this Call by sending feathers beads and more material to 'The Path'. The moment I arrived in Estancia, a pile of feather-packages was awaiting me. After a Blessing and giving thanks ceremony to honor the Birdspirits and all people involved, I started creating right away. It has was a most amazing beautiful blessing to have been part of This Global Gathering, with so many beautiful people and celebrations I feel humbly grateful for the chance of creating this true Co-Creation.
